Jaine's short screenplay Track Meet has placed 2nd in her heat for the NYCMidnight Screenwriting Challenge. She is one of 50 contestants from an original pool of 1141 screenwriters from around the world to go into the finals. This is the second time Jaine has made the final of the NYCMidnight Screenwriting Challenge.

The 'Not So Easy' Art of Pitching

As part of today's pitching seminar, run by Hollywood script consultant Kathie Fong Yoneda and screenwriting guru Dr. Craig Batty, Jaine participated in a pitch slam contest. And she won! Speaking before a panel of judges that included Seph McKenna (Head of Australian Production, Village Roadshow), David Redmond from Instinct Entertainment, Ahren Morris from Snowgum Films, and Nadia Tass from Cascade Films, not to mention a crowd of other writers and filmmakers, this is quite an achievement.
